Island Farm Foods is a family-run Organic farm, set up in 2007 in the heart of the midlands, The Island, Ballycumber, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. We primarily sell Certified Organic meat direct to the public and over the years have developed our “Naked Range” of jams, chutneys, sauces, cordial and apple juice.
Our farm is situated beside Clara Bog, a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a statutory Nature Reserve. Our Organic herd has a perfect feast to graze on including samphire, wild sorrel, lavender, bog rosemary and wild garlic where it gains it’s wonderful, unique subtle flavour.
We can truly say that nothing has been added to our meat other than wonderful Irish rain, a bouquet garni of wild grasses and time, sustainability in its purest form. On 1st February 2015 Island Farm joined the government run Organic Scheme (O.F.S) and are members of the Organic Trust.
